Luxury balloon décor uses quality latex balloons to transform a room or event into a beautiful spectacle. There are so many ways to bring someone’s vision to life with just balloons. My favorite part about the business is the reaction of my clients when I’ve completed my work. The bigger the balloons the better and I absolutely LOVE a wow factor. The labor of creating my balloon designs is long and tedious but well worth the outcome.

My name is Yasmine Gadsden and I am the founder and main artist behind Malik’s Garden Luxury Balloon Décor. My two passions are art and science. I have always loved art and expressing myself creatively. I’ve sketched portraits, created pour paint canvas’, done interior designing, directed fashion shows, and designed websites, business and holiday cards. I’ve had my hands on many creative projects and somehow it led me to luxury balloon décor. I started out creating balloon arches for family members and close friends’ parties and events. My small hobby and creative outlet turned into a small business with major clientele.

The most important impactful qualities on my journey have been persistence, altruistic efforts, and interpersonal skills. Believing in yourself and being persistent is a major key in persevering. Seeking the advice of others is great for obtaining new perspective; however, the vision only comes from your eyes, so it is imperative to keep going no matter. I believe in paying dues forward and giving in order to attract what I would like to receive. I have completed several free services throughout my entrepreneurship and in turn have gained exposure, clientele, and built quality relationships. I also enjoy doing my part for the community regardless of how big or small the act because I have an abundance of love for my community and humanity. Interpersonal skills are also a major key because they assist with establishing clientele and relationship building for collaborations and referrals. The best way to develop these qualities is to practice, repetition is key. Start in more comfortable environments such as amongst family members and friends and then branch out.
